Echelon promises €3.5bn and up to 1300 jobs as Wicklow data centre secures grid connection

The “milestone” approval for Echelon promises huge investment for Wicklow, Arklow and north Wexford, with the expansive project ensuring a capital investment of €3.5 billion, along with the creation of 1,100 medium to long-term (c. 5 years) construction jobs.
