€20million has been announced for a second bridge and 795m of road in Newbridge, Kildare. It will complete the Newbridge Southern Outer Orbital Relief Road. Construction is hoped to begin in 2027, as the Department of Transport have been working on progressing the project to the tender stage, which is said to be “very close”. Read the full story here.
