An Bord Pleanála has given the green light to plans for a 200MW €1.2bn data centre campus on the outskirts of Ennis. The campus is to comprise six data halls covering 145 acres. Construction work on the scheme is to take six years, will create up to 1,200 jobs and a company spokesman said: “Construction will commence as soon as possible in 2024.” Read the full story here.
